What Is Avalanche Team1?

Avalanche Team1 is designed to organically expand and elevate the global Avalanche community. Whether you're a developer, content creator, educator, or blockchain enthusiast, the program offers a platform to grow your career, contribute to the ecosystem, and be part of a community shaping the future of Web3.

Our Goal

We want to empower and elevate community members to help build and run one of the biggest community-driven programs in Web3.

Team1 members will help drive awareness and engagement through various channels and initiatives, such as hosting IRL events, producing cool content, and integrating Avalanche into Universities. They will also serve as a bridge between the Avalanche team and the wider community, gathering feedback and insights to continually improve the community experience. We want to make sure we support native Avalanche builders onboarding and support new developers, guide them through the Avalanche ecosystem, and enable them to build innovative, impactful applications that grow the network.

What Types Of Members Do We Want In Team1?

We are primarily looking for 3 main categories of members:

1. IRL General Events Those who can organize in-person events at a local community level aimed at the general Avalanche and crypto community (nontech). Some examples include meetups, networking events, community dinners, game nights, etc.

2. IRL Tech Events Those who can organize in-person events aimed at the developer and technical community. These will be our technical developers whom we also want to support to build a project on Avalanche. Some examples of local events include local developer workshops, University talks to tech students, Avalanche integration to blockchain clubs, hackathons, etc.

3. Digital Those who can create cool content online that will help grow, engage, and strengthen the Avalanche community. Examples include attention-grabbing videos, X Spaces, Arena Stages, Discord events, gaming sessions, educational/general content in different languages, etc.
