Discord Guide

The majority of our communications will take place in their respective channels within the Avalanche Team1 Discord

You can join the official Discord here.

When you arrive in the server, you should verify to gain access. Once verified, you will see the 'Community' section. Go to the #Welcome channel for an overview of channels in the Discord.

Channel Guide

Note: More channels will be added as the program grows. You may only have access to certain channels at the start. You will unlock new roles and channels as you progress and contribute to the program.

Community Channels

This will be the first tier of channel that is unlocked to you. You will get access to additional channels once you are confirmed as a Team1 member.

#announcements: Announcements about Avalanche or Team1-related activity.

#official-links: Links to Team1 and Avalanche resources.

#general: A place for general chat.

#content9000: Submit links to your social content supporting Avalanche for visibility to other members and for consideration to be included in the 'engage' system below.

#engage: A channel for an 'engage' system where members can earn xp points for interacting and engaging with tweets. These points can be redeemed for merch and other incentives.

#town-hall: Voice chat for our internal Team1 meetings.

#events: Internal Team1 member meeting calendar for weekly syncs, developer relations webinars, etc.

Team1 Member Channels:

This section is accessible once you are confirmed as a member of Team1.

#introductions: Please introduce yourself here and let members know how you would like to contribute to the program.

#general: A place for general member chat.

#events: If you would like to organize or attend an event, you can post about it here. You can share details here if you believe we should have a Team1 presence at certain events. To officially propose an event you would like to organize, please use this form.

#voice-chat: For those who want to discuss or collaborate on something over a voice call. Any official member can join to listen/contribute to the conversation or give feedback on ideas.

#bounties-and-grants: Any new bounty/grant opportunities. Access this page for more information on the Bounty System.
