The purpose of the program is to support the growth of Avalanche and grow the personal careers of those selected to join the DAO. As ambassadors rank up, they will be delegated more and more leadership opportunities. We want to empower the Avalanche community to help run one of the biggest DAOs and ambassador programs in Web3

  • Who can Apply?

Anyone with a desire to grow their web3 career while supporting and building the Avalanche ecosystem can apply. Full details on how to apply can be found here.

This is an unpaid position however ambassadors will have access to a pool of paid bounties that they can complete. As you rank up to senior ambassador you will unlock new and more exclusive earning opportunities within the DAO.

  • What are the responsibilities of a selected Ambassador?

The range of responsibilities vary depending on your individual ambition. We are looking for people who can host local IRL community events, integrate Avalanche into Universities, represent Avalanche at industry events, host twitter spaces, create cool content, and generally support Avalanche both on and offline.

  • How does the application process work?

After applying to the program you should go to the Discord to get your β€˜Cadet’ role if you have not done so already. You do not. General web3, blockchain and Avalanche knowledge is required, but expert level status is only required to be promoted to a Senior and Elite Ambassador.

Generally yes. This can be decided on a case by case base depending on your level of involvement with another project/community.

  • How much time do I have to commit? We understand our ambassadors have various commitments so the program is designed to accommodate flexible time commitments with flexible goals. On average, ambassadors will typically dedicate a few hours per week to activities such as hosting events, creating content or engaging with the community online. The more time and effort you put in, the more you will rank up within the DAO and the more rewarding the experience will be.
