# Steps To Running Your Own Community Event

To keep things standardized, we do require members to submit a proposal if they would like reimbursement for each event they would like to run. If a member wants to run smaller events and does not want reimbursement, they can skip the proposal process. Team1 can still provide guidance and marketing support. Everyone is free to run community events; however, only official members can apply for event reimbursement grants. \
